Ban proposed on chemical linked to Woburn leukemia cluster

The Environmental Protection Agency and Senator Ed Markey have proposed banning the cancer-causing chemical trichloroethylene, also known as TCE. The chemical is behind a cluster of deadly childhood cancer cases in Woburn between 1969 and 1986. Despite the evidence that it is carcinogenic, TCE is still in use in Massachusetts today.
